I dunno man... it's hard to top the self titled "Modern Lovers". It was so much more rock'n'roll. Now don't get me wrong, because I love J. Richman but I feel like he got kinda childish after the originals broke up.
There's another version of this song on "Not So Much To Be Loved, As To Love." That's one of Jonathan Richman's best albums, I think. Like Van Gogh, Richman expresses the most intensely personal and complex feelings in a very simple, down-to-earth and poetic way.
