Democracy has not been the dominant political system in the West by ANY stretch of the imagination. What do you call the systems in place during the Middles Ages, are these 'democracies'? Rule of law -- well, German society was a lot more smooth-functioning than what we have in the US today. Compare Berlin in the Third Reich to modern Los Angeles! If you think that Nazi culture was somehow about pregnancy and neo-paganism, all I can say is you have a LOT of reading to do...

Furthermore, the West prospered because it recognized the principle of DIFFERENCE in the natural world and then adjusted itself accordingly. Difference is, after all, one of the most fundamental properties of reality. Now that the West has abandoned the sane notion in favor of denying everything that doesn't fit into its pre-established worldview of egalitarianism, it is literally allowing itself to be conquered from within.

@Filmmaniac03 You don't need non-whites to destroy the West, and as the Eastern Asians demonstrate, some non-whites are perfectly capable of out-civilizing the former West (when inspired by the West).

@Filmmaniac03 I put down anti-semitism to basically two different causes: A) Jews are bankers B) Jews are socialists. What do you think was Hitler's anti-semitism?
-
@Filmmaniac03 That's actually a scary thing to realize. I never thought about it and I don't quite know what kind of art Hitler was fighting against, but know I wouldn't be surprised if it's exactly the kind of art I consider harmful to society (and symptom of a harmed society). What background do you have? Objectivist?

@bettlebag One of these women was Hitlers girlfriend Eva Braun - i think that changes things a little bit. The others were his personal secretaries. Most of the ordinary staff had already left Berlin.

@Filmmaniac03 Actually Himmler and the SS also used ideas of neo-paganism to develop their perverted ideas about the master race. Before 1933 there had been more or less functional democracies in europe. But France, Germany (1918-1933), the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria (fell to fascism before the Nazis invaded) and some others had fairly democratic systems - in particular Germany had one of the most democratic constitutions. The nazis destroyed it a couple of years.

The scene is unrealistic becasuse Hitler would never involve women in important matters.

Hitler was fucking right down with perverted east.

thinking of adding this movie to an introduction I'm gonna have tomorrow about Speer, and is the description "Hitler discusses the plans about new Berlin with Speer?" or " Hitler inspects Speer's plans about new Berlin?
are those two descriptions good?

It was more about what hitler tought about berlin, and what Speer did about it.
But, like in the movie, Speer did his job.
