A Coast Guard MH-65C Dolphin rescue helicopter and crew document the fire aboard the mobile offshore drilling unit Deepwater Horizon, while searching for survivors April 21, 2010. Multiple Coast Guard helicopters, planes and cutters responded to rescue the Deepwater Horizon's 126 person crew.

saddam burned thousands of oil rigs in Kuwait, nd guess what, it took them less than a month to put it down, now whats up with all these crap, its freakin U.S.A, they shoud be able to put it down in a matter of hours, its takin them 3 damn months like really!

You think that this rig could sink unless they sprayed it with 135,000 gallons a minute with all the section doors open? Like a huge iceberg most of it is below sea level. Did not break the pipe above the preventer till it sank. Team on the deck when fire started included MMA inspecters and Homeland Security. No telemetry after 3:pm the day of the fire 10:pm Obama had this from day 1

Man, just one info: this combat against the blaze was performed by Supply boats with firefighter equipment and not by US Coast Guard !

See better some "Edison Chouest" supply boats and other companies taking this duty !
