Knuckles in Sonic 2 full game (Emerald Hill Act 1)

I play a full game of Sonic 2 with Knuckles performing various stunts and getting great speed along the way. Though I'd normally pause the game a lot, I avoid this entirely. Also, because getting the Chaos Emeralds makes the game much easier, I'm avoiding this.

This video spans close to 100 minutes and is split based on the level played.

Emerald Hill is boring level to me: neutral-liked music, infinite scaled background (32 would've been better), and otherwise not of much excitement except with Knuckles where, with his special secret ability I call a glide-hop, I can get very fast.

What if you put a Sonic & Knuckles cartridge on it (if that's even possible)?

I don't have a second "Sonic & Knuckles" game cartridge, so it's impossible for me to test. Given other Sonic games and non-Sonic games, you'll only ever get one possible "Blue Sphere" level. Sonic 1 allows for who knows how many possible (I'm guessing 65,535).

No kidding.  I'm definitely with you. After Sonic & Knuckles was released, Sonic went far downhill. I actually wished that there was a "Sonic Builders" or something where players can create their own classic-style 2D games (only, without the annoying 24 px/fr scrolling speed limit (16 for Sonic 2 and earlier)).

The final boss is quite easy actually. Wing Fortress's boss is much, much harder.
