High Tide - Home Sweet Home Revisited (Bluegrass)

High Tide is Hawaii's Bluegrass band, but has a great sound and is solid driving. They have earned a huge following among Bluegrass fans and those who have never experienced Bluegrass before in the islands. Brad Jessmer, Banjo/guitar; Chris Cerna, Mandolin, Doug Teows, Bass, and Brandon Ing, guitar. Ward's Rafters is traditionally a private Jazz club, but High Tide has been welcomed overwhelmingly into the Jazz community. Pure heartfelt accoustic music and vocals. Brad Jessmer, who is an active duty Air Force Major, brought his sound to the Islands, and with the help of Chris and Doug, put together a great band. First I've heard of High Tide...sounds really good...it's not a huge surprise they have been accepted by the jazz crowd...jazz and bluegrass are often related with people like David Grisman and Tony Rice
