  • West University Baptist Church Choir sang this this morning with Orchestra. Awesome song and scripture.

  • Where are they located? I would have loved to see that performance!

  • I beautiful job. I was hoping to see the performance. The organist, Dr. David Messineo was a good friend of mine and an amazing musician who died much too young.

  • What sad news. I think I read something about it on the internet.

I sung with the Rutgers-Newark Choir on one of their European summer tours-he accompanied us and he gave an amazing solo performance.

He had many very respectable accomplishments, awards, accolades, he was amazing! He was one of the best!

My husband used to turn his pages during practice at St. Mary's in Newark.

He was always such a happy guy, smiling and laughing. I don't think I've ever seen him in a bad mood.

  • That was great! very beautiful... Our choir is singing this song this year, and it's one of the pieces at all-region! try-outs are october 3rd

  • not one of my fave pieces to sing...but i do like to listen...very nicely done. i prefer the organ to the piano on this kind of piece...it sounds alot more majestic in the beginning.

  • they were big on the dynamics which was great because a lot of choirs just don't pay attention to that although it's more important than thought.

  • Transitions got in the way of the beauty of what you were showing. Simple cross fades would have been better.

  • This song is so much fun to sing! Our High School Concert Choir at Southern Door is singing this for our spring concert

  • I love the organ in this! The choir is quite nice, except for a few women who don't blend and can't quite soar (or keep their intonation) on the "Alleluia." The interpretation is good, as well. I would have liked a little more dynamic contrast from "and he shall be" until "by clear shining." But still, the best version I've heard on YouTube!

  • my chior is singing this

  • There was a single soprano that stood out the whole time. And at the end the standing out switched to an alto. The organ was a bit too overpowering. But otherwise great job. Love the song. My choir had a lot of fun singing it.

  • Wonderful performance. Thank you for posting this.

  • OMG you should hear Wilberforce University Choir sing it!
