Gordon Lightfoot does a good version of this, but Mac Wiseman is the best I've heard.

I just recognized the banjo man as Ronny Horton. He lives in Burlington. I had him set up my banjo last year and spent a very enjoyable afternoon jamming with him.

That's Bryan Barron on fiddle but who is on banjo and where was the show recorded?

I love Mac Wiseman. He is the greatest. This is the first time I've heard this song. The musicians hear are really good and it's nice to see th em dressed so nicely - which we don't see that much of any more. Mac can sing anything and it's a winner. A fantastic voice.
Thank you for posting - Paula
