That, my friend has to be the most touching thing I have seen in a long time. You reminded me of what it means to share our way of life with our young people. It has brought back many memories. Thank you so much for sharing. Lately I have been fighting the wolf supporters, and sometimes I get caught up in it, and forget the real reason I fight for wildlife. I love to hunt, and I love being in the mountains

I have the best memories with him up hunting. Like I said, this video is kind weird to me, it makes me choke up a bit thinking of all the good times I have spent with my dad, and the times that will come. I can remember him carrying me when I was five, the 3'30 am mornings, all the times sitting a hundred and fifty miles from home and civilization on the top of a mountain sipping water and eating a snickers bar after a freezing morning. I honestly cant explain it.

yup! See im only 15 and I have been going elk hunting with my father for the past 10 years. Practically as far as I can remember. I have only hunted for the past 4 because when I was younger I could not draw the minimum weight to hunt with my bow.

i saw in the vid family members joining in, nothing can beat family bonding, and as you said tradition, people did it back then, even more reason to continue now
