According to South West Radio Ministry over 30 million copies of his book The Purpose Driven Life' have been sold, and as reported, over 21,000 churches worldwide have gone through his "40 Days of Purpose" program. The actual number is probably over 50,000. This movement seems to be the most drastic change in Christendom since the 1550 Protestant Reformation.

But where is it going? Do we not have a right to "try the spirits" (I John 4:1-2)? Do we not have an obligation to God to "try the spirits"? The object of the PDC movement is in eight steps to change your church from a "traditional church" to a "Purpose Driven Church". The author brings out the similarities of the PDC gospel to that of Dr. Charles Schuller and the New Age gurus.

His innovative musical production work has been featured on All Things Considered on NPR, Comcast Newsmakers, The Washington Post and several hundred publications and networks around the world. He wrote and produced two documentaries on the history of hymns and Christmas carols (for which James was nominated for a Grammy for Best Album Notes) aired on National Public Radio, Calvary Satellite Network, Family Life Radio Network, Salem Broadcasting, and the Armed Forces Radio Network. James' first solo record album is entitled Freedom Flight, on Lamb & Lion Records for Pat Boone Productions.

James was also a Biblical commentator with astronomer Dr. Danny Faulkner and Dr. Kent Hovind on a video Creation Series entitled: Age of the Earth for Creation Science Evangelism. I see now. I had always felt Rick Warren's book was way wrong and the Holy Spirit one day would not allow me to even pick this book up but a great sense of this book is wrong ran through my mind. And I have not forgotten that day. Now I know why.

Within even the last week, I was considering going to a church. A friend showed me a page of teaching and it had SHAPE on it. It meant nothing to me at the time. I am so thankful that the Holy Spirit lead me to watch this whole video. I shall seek the Lord on this matter as to whether I should go or not, I am so thankful to God for the posting of this video. I took some Psychology in University, and since then Jesus Christ has set me free from those lies. He alone is the Truth.

I always sensed that there was something wrong with the purpose driven life, but as a good Christian , I trusted my pastor who tripped over himslef to paint Rick Warren as a powerful man of God , I was wrong as I can see .
