@Bodhizzle you change the blade when you are not getting good shaves anymore. The exact time depends on many different things. Very generally 5-6 full shaves.

Hi Mantic...just wanted to let you know how good your instructions are. Using your teachings, I started wet shaving about 2 weeks ago WITH A MERKUR SLANT BAR AND FEATHER BRAND RAZORS!! I was blissfully unaware that I was supposedly in very dangerous waters until I read some comments on different shave forums regarding the slant bar and Feather razors. I think it is a testament to your great videos that I've only had one bad shave and just a few nicks(no real cuts). Keep up the good work.
Hi mantic59,
Nice videos, nice tutorial, but please if you have time, I would be very grateful if you can make shaving video about Merkur Progress like a review( 3 passes), I know it's your personal very best DE machine.
Thank You.

Hey I bought a traditional shaving set including a DE Razor, Super Badger shaving brush not long ago. I'm using Truefitt & Hill's shaving cream and after shave balm and the shave feels great. But I have one problem, when it comes to my throat, I can't seem to find a way to shave it withour getting bumps and cuts. I've tried different shaving directions and no matter what I do I keep getting those red bumps and irritated skin. Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

@mattiasjoppe First be sure you are using no pressure on the razor! You also might want to experiment with using different brands of blades or try using cold water instead of warm.

1:47..."The shave soap I'm using is widely availible in the U.S. for under $2."
Then I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're using Barbasol. In fact, I saw it at Rite-Aid a couple weeks ago for $1.79...lol!!!
