W-30 was built in 1946 and it was under Cleveland Transit #4204. It came to the TTC in 1950's as #4631. 4631 was later converted into a rail grinder car (W-30) and it entered service as a work service in 1976. It was retired from the TTC in 1999 and it came to the museum in September 2002.
@jayocular It does look that way. This is what happens when you take two PCC's out of service, convert them into work cars, and paint them yellow with black stipes.

W-30 and W-31 were the most popular of the entire streetcar fleet. There's one way to tell. The paint scheme - yellow.
