GTA4 playing on the Celeron Dual-Core at 3GHz with Sapphire HD3870 512MB DDR4 Core @ 808MHz MEM @ 2400MHz.

With patch 1.0.2 and Windows 7 beta build i got average 30-35 FPS now which doesn't depend on where I currently
am.

Textures: Medium (high doesn't make low fps but bugs when moving camera).

Are U Sure that is DDR4? Good details but is better than 9800gtx+?

@ilovenintendo23 Yes, google for it :) But i think it brings like 1-3% of better performance so it is not that important. Surely not better! Some games maybe, but GTA IV always works better on NVIDIA cards (what i've seen yet)

the 4850 isnt that old....also, a 3870 beats a 8800gts in cod4, mw2 and all that..my friend has imac 3.01 ghz dual core, 4gb ddr2 and 4850...he is running crysis on medium 30-40 fps...and i have amd x2 250@ 3ghz and 4870, i can run crysis on high with 30 fps....4870 is "lower high end"

8600gt is mainstream card in 8-series, 3870hd is high-end in 3xxx-series

@filipkof lol it is a low end card and so is the 8600gt, a old card is now 9800 or 4850 lol and ur processor well ........
