Hey, this is my first arcade cab, powered by the Dingoo A320 handheld.

Games played:
Mars Matrix (Final Burn Alpha)
Dodonpachi (Mame4All)
Outrun (Picodrive)
Ultimate Drift (Native)

  • Hey :) I'm still working on my cab, but I'm stuck on how to use the ps1 power source to run the screen and dingoo. I know I need the transformers but don't understand hour to wire them up... Could u please advise?

  • @ACE99405 I've posted a "diagram" to the build thread. Sorry that it took so long!

  • Love your cab, INSPIRING ! Fixed my B\W output issue screen issue (got another screen) Here is what I got so far.... Joystick and buttons Joytech 5.6 Screen Speakers Dingoo (stripped) Are there any guides about for the following: Extending the USB: making Dingoo run from a plug not batteries (I am new to electronics) Solder Points for the wiring Any other tips Where to get the power converters mentioned. Could you please post links to where you got all the parts?
  • @coinopscab I replied to your questions at the dingoonity boards. I've ordered most of my parts at arcadeshop.de and conrad.de. They both offer internation shipping, in case you haven't such a shop around.

  • Man...Saw this on the dingoonity. Possibly the coolest fucking thing i have ever seen. Well done, really impressed.

  • run out of space last post to say thanks :)

    so.... Thanks ;)

  • @deadline27 Oh, I'm sorry to hear this. I'd really like you to help you out, but my apartment doesn't have a basement. Once I get one I could actually build another one, but right now it's not possible, sorry.

  • @ACE99405 Unfortunately tvout right from the start is only possible with Dingux (I think I've posted my script somewhere at Dingoonity). In Dingux you have also some more parameters (ntsc, pal, cpu-clock), so you might be able to get color output. Or your screen expect a s-video signal. Anyway I'm looking forward to your cab :)

  • I use native to be honest although I do have dingux also but dont really use it, it also outputs in black and white :(

I use mame4all native but mainly play CPS1 streetfigher series CPS2 Xmen Vs Sf and NEOGEO Neo Turf Masters

I want to base my mini cab on the xmen vs sf cab

Is it possible to make the native output to tvout from powering on?

Thanks for replying and sharing your cab build info

  • @DirkMitHut I already have the dingoo a320 and a sony psone screen. is it possible to comission you to make one?
