Why won't another fire truck respawn for me?

@speedyc10 Try going some distance from your destroyed firetruck and from the original spawn location. It will happen

What worked for me and seems a bit safer is, go to the crime scene and finish up there. Now get your firetruck and fast travel to the next destination in your notebook, the "Black Residence." There's a gas station 1/2 a block from here and every time you go there your game will be saved. Fast travel back and forth blowing up trucks 7 times and finish your case.

For some reason I can not get the firetruck to ever respawn regardless how far away I go either on foot or by vech.

gas tanks take a while to spawn. other than that, it's pretty simple to get.
