AFL-CIO's Stewart Acuff at Little Rock rally for Employee Free Choice Act

The "Turn Around Arkansas" coalition held a 24-hour vigil for the Employee Free Choice Act on Wednesday, May 27. The vigil began at Senator Blanche Lincoln's office in Little Rock where workers delivered hundreds of letters in support of the Employee Free Choice Act. Arkansas' two Senators have already received more than 14,000 similar letters. The vigil was led by Stewart Acuff, a national leader in the campaign to pass the Employee Free Choice Act. Similar vigils were also held at the District offices of Arkansas's congressional delegation in Fayetteville, Jonesboro, El Dorado and Texarkana. The vigil wrapped up with a rally at the Arkansas State House where Stewart Acuff was one of the speakers.
