  • Does he always wear socks? My son is 17, and lives with autism. He have never gone barefoot. Will sooner climb up you to avoid touching anything with his feet.

  • @sandrajeanification Actually it depends on the day and how cold the floor is. He loves to go barefoot because the seams on the socks bother him

  • This reminds me of my little girl that I do therapy sessions with :) she is 3 and just the most precious angel ever! I call her my little ballerina when she toe walks...love these kids so much, such a blessing!

  • I know what Autism is..My grandson is severly Autistic. He is 8,and does not talk..He walks on his toes..He has all the symtoms..He is so beautiful and precious to me..My daughter does not get alot of sleep..We have special help..I told him."It's O.K. if you don't talk. Some people talk to much."and he said talk, just that one word, all day long, and would look and grin at me..LOL..Jesus loves him and I love him,all the family love him and I pray for him everyday. He can swim like a champion, miracles.

  • @laHomeSchooling Im not bothered by it at all. If it hadn't been for the big screen my daughter wouldnt have noticed such a thing as a tv. I hope that you dont have a single big or little tv in your home or you would be a hypocrite. As for the comment "least of all those with extra challenges" do you have any idea how anything could be a tool to reach a child and to get them to "open up"?

  • Isn't anyone else bothered by young children being exposed to big-screen televisions? It doesn't seem like a very developmentally healthy thing for any child, least of all those with extra challenges.

  • He is so adorable. God bless him and your family.

  • My cousin toe walked and grew up to become a very good looking and famous basketball player.. Thank God nobody tried to change him because of walking on his toes and spinning when he was 4. By the way kids of been doing these things for millions of years. When did we decide it was a disease?

  • what about "Toe-heal" instead of "Heal-toe" walking? has that got anything to do with autism/aspergers? what if the person has all the other signs?

  • Wow, his movements are beautiful.
