  • @VioletBeautiful... Actually you and KristhAJ are both correct, it's Cajun French. The Cajun French is almost solely derived from Acadian French. Just ask my wife, she was born in New Orleans.

  • Funniest story, just after this song came out my dad got really irritated with my French teacher, who was this complete dolt, had no idea what she was doing. My dad was so confident that he wakled into her office and said the French part of this song to prove his point (which, of course, means 'do you want to sleep with me tonight'). She looked up to him, said 'No' politely, and my dad's face had NEVER been so damn red, all the while I was ROFLing...
