Guts and glory (and a fair bit of pain and suffering) as XPD - Australia's only expedition-length adventure race - hits the extreme girt, dirt and waterways of Far North Queensland. From biking, hiking and paddling through the unforgiving outback beyond Cairns, to rafting down the Tully and pushing a wheelbarrow (yep, a wheelbarrow) through the red dust, Outer Edge was there as this race took competitors to the edge. And then hit them with the world's most painful plant - the stinging tree. Tough guys crying, people with leeches on their eyes, teams resorting to licking moisture from leaves and drinking their own wee to survive race stages... sound like your sort of tea time viewing? Get into it.

Truly one of the most memorable things I have ever done. (my feet are still shedding and my little toes are still numb..:-D)
Brilliant to re-live it with this great footage and looking forward to seeing the full screening on HD One tomorrow evening!
Thanks Outer Edge! Bring on Tassie 2011!
