Copyright © by Kinowelt Home Entertainment GmbH
In person, the music seems to allow you to just experience the dream of every dancer...flying. It gives some energy to the movement without allowing a melody to take away from the focus of the dance and lights and flight. If you haven't experienced it in person...make it a destination.

Looks like a really fascinating performance, but I feel like the music is somewhat lacking...

@lb10003 i agree, if you think this looks amazing, you should see it in person. much more jaw dropping.

I just saw it today in NYC and it brought the house down. Too bad the video doesn't capture how the dancer appears to be floating in the air. See it live if you get the chance!

It is still being performed. I saw it last night in NY, and I looked for it today online to see it again. Amazing.

You're totally right, this performance must be seen live to be fully appreciated. I saw this performed many years ago, but I still remember being completely stunned by what I had seen! Really breathtaking. Do you know if 'Caught' is still being performed? I'd love to see it again!

It is difficult to do Parson's incredible piece justice on video. What happens live is you see a series of snapshots of the dancer suspended in space or moving through it, at varying speeds and in very challenging positions. Precise timing sets up these snapshots or sequences with the strobe light, giving the illusion of flight through space, with dramatic pauses at various points. Stunning; audiences often start gasping and applauding wildly in the middle of the piece when they see it.
