Deafhood As Religion?

Transcript: Hello everybody! I want to discuss about Deafhood as Religion. I am not here to destroy Deafhood or make them look bad. However, I must stand up and speak up that someone mentioned Deafhood as religion.

First of all, I am Christian. I love my God. He is perfect, holy God and no one likes Him. I want to give some verses why I disagree with the idea of Deafhood being a religion.

Exodus 20:3: "You shall have no other gods before me."

It is from the Ten Commandment. The Ten Commandment is very important. Many Christians don't use it in their Christian life. It is sad. The first commandment is we shall not have other gods before Him.

Bunjer used Paddy Ladd as Savior which is very wrong! It doesn't matter if he is new to Deafhood or religion but I must inform you that we cannot name anyone God.

Exodus 20:7: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."

To misuse God's name is also very wrong! To called Paddy Ladd the name Jesus as Savior considered blasphemy. Blasphemy means irreverence toward holy personages, religious artifacts, customs, and beliefs.

Isaiah 42:8: I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.

I will NOT give praise or glory to anyone but only God. I thank God for used Paddy Ladd to write a book about Deafhood but not because he is God or Deafhood is a Bible.

If it is true that people used Deafhood as religion, then I will no long part of it. I support Deafhood in some way that helped us to be independent. I made vlog on Deafhood opened my eyes to Deaf ministry.

In conclusion, I must obey the Lord my God and study His words in the Bible. If Deafhood honors God, then I accept. But if Deafhood honors God not, mocking Him by labeling Paddy Ladd as Jesus the Savior and Deafhood as the Bible, then I must reject.

I do fully agree with you! Please see John 14:6. Lord Jesus is our Creator, Saviour, and Final Authority.

Deafhood is not a religion group but they persevere its Deaf culture, language, and history which it is extremely important to the Deaf children to understand the oppression from the hand of professional audists. If Deafhood claims to be a religion group I will just always focus on Lord Jesus directly.

well I heard something problem about Deafhood is religion? that I think maybe make dangerous., but you choices Deafhood become religion and Church worship.

but short term on earth that fine but be careful don't more longer life and believe afterdeath.,

so if after death God have to HEARING for every. so well don't be ABOVE GOD.

God(s) is ok for enjoy choices yourself. amen. Deafhood are God(s)!! but NOT GOD! do that. AMEN!.

@KingOrmond Respond to your two messages. No. We are Deaf period. Nothing can change us to become hearing people because it is God's purpose. See a few verses in John 9. I just learned about Deafhood and will make vlog soon.

Hi Toby, why is so much discussion here about deafhood with religion? My opinion is "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." same like "Give to Deafhood what is Deafhood's, and to God what is God's." :0

Hello everyone, I have made a video in response, and also made comments, and look what I got, no response after using my name. I man up and said that Toby and Joe is right, not to use God's name in vain, and agreed. Yet, I get no response from them both. Don't I deserve a response from both of them? Yet no response, and wonder what they think now of me than Deafhood? People should stop oppression, and be equals with hearing people, and forgive each other.
