  • hi, right off the bat great tutorial.

but, i was wondering if you draw something on say paper, scan it on to youre pc

could you then colour it in photoshop?

if the question sounds a little off to you i undersand.

  • Thank you for posting great tutorials

Can you please post what color swatches do you use. It would be a real help

  • I really enjoyed watching this, very informative.Thank you.

  • @krissthebliss Smaller file size, easier hotkeys, and personal preference.

There are plenty who use layers, though for me it just makes it easier to screw up the lineart or the flats, so I keep both in a channel until it's time to do line holds and effects.

I have actually had problems sending files with a bunch of layers in e-mails due to size, which is one of the reasons I use channels now. But, after the work is done, they are both exactly the same.

  • whats the advantages on working in the channels area?
