hey! it has plenty of play ground to move in?? The Great Divide!! you bloke need to remember the divide runs from Cairns in far northern Qld the whole length of the Australian eastern sea board right through to Melbourne in Vic.. so she'd have stacks of room to look for tucker and roam in... and the scrub's bloody thick in most parts as well..
Parthogenesis could work since the males would mate with their mom and then the generations after can reproduce until eventually the gene pool is diverse enough, with cases of parthogenesis in between when times are hard. If there is any cryptid which has a chance of a breeding population, a large monitor whether its Megalania or not would be the best bet.
I like the show,but...Wisdom tells me that if I were to go looking for a possible lizard that is 20ft long or longer, that like to eat meat I will have in my survival kit much more than a bucket with water and plaster makings. (A mark 19 might come to mind along with a Desert Eagle..lol ) And a few more friends armed like me..!
Wollemi... Pronounced wrong. It's Wol-em-eye, not wol-em-ee
And Moruya is also pronounced wrong. More-eye-ya, a bit like Maria.
