Love you Linda, but I have to say I'm happy with my Presto pot. Less expensive and cooks just as well as a fancy rig. I am happy to hear you push legumes, vegetables, and rice. I think pressure cookers cook healthy foods and made it so my grandparents lived a long life.

looks cool but i don't trust the one-hand release. if it's under pressure you want the lid to have a twisting motion and as few moving parts as possible

How is the Kuhn Rikon superior? The BRK is easier to use, better built, and much better looking. I use mine for pressure cooking and for my everyday cookware. the one handed pressure lid is so easy!
