btw im a big fan of alien dont much like the movies after it aliens is ok but alien is amazing and i dont no why but it seems you capturd the atmospher of alien in this tiny shot amzing work 5 stars.

love the video, I am into 3d animation as well, but I do not know how to make 3d objects look 2d like how you have or how some video games have it. Can you tell me where there is a tutorial for this.

It's postproduction thing... It was regular 3d at start. I used a photoshop droplet to create the effect... ;) Have fun!

No worries..that ball or 'Alien ball' pose as they called it on set,is one of my favourites.
As i say,you captured the progression of sedate pose to attack very well...pity these later directors have no idea...and that damn ADI FX group....

Indeed... The original alien was a stealth ambusher... like a mantis, as I see it. From aliens on, they kept making them more speedy and stupid... I´m also very fan of Giger´s artwork in general, and as I see it, the first was the only realy scary one, trully biomechanic being. Those ADI remakes you mention, are just caricatures,... Alien vs. Predator was a total joke! and an insult even to the comic books.
