www.johnziegler.com Commentator/filmmaker John Ziegler explains how the conservative media will make sure the Herman Cain "sex scandal" doesn't destroy his presidential campaign.
I'm also reconsidering whether Paul is really unelectable in the general election. There's really nothing to attack him on other than his opinions. What's Obama going to do other than try to distort his beliefs? Ron Paul would destroy Obama in the debates, though, and would very quickly show tht he's not out to destroy Social Security, but that it needs to be saved even though it is, in truth, not constitutional. On taxes and the war, he wins easily. Maybe it's time to join the revolution.
I feel I should say something else at this point. The more I see of the candidates, the more convinced I'm becoming that Ron Paul may be the only one we can trust to actually stick by his beliefs and not sell us out like all the other politicians in the nation. Protest vote or not, I think I'll be voting for him.
I don't care whether Cain did it or not because it was 12 years ago and everyone has moved on with their lives. My only problem with this is Herman Cain keeps playing the Race Card this has nothing to do with race Cain always plays the Race Card everytime he's criticized there's plenty White Politicians accused of sexual harassment this has nothing to do with race
Herman Cain is brilliant, He knows how to work the media. All the advertisement around the cigarette commercial and now all the publicity around the sex scandal. If the harassment is minor, then no one will hold it against him except the liberals. The longer he can keep the scandal going the better the advertisement. 1 year ago no one knew who he was, now everyone know who he is and in his brilliance he didn't have to spend millions of dollars. This is a man who can get a lot done without much.
Politicians in Washington aren't going to actually redo the entire system just because one man happens to have a point. Perhaps if we really *do* have a major economic collapse, things will be different. As things are, though, the left and the right are both blaming either capitalism or socialism for the predicted event, rather than realizing our *blend of socialized capitalism* cannot sustain itself. I'm not saying one should not vote for Paul, just to realize it's a protest vote.
I don't agree with everything he says, but I seem to agree with him a lot more than the other candidates. The thing is, it's not that the media is telling me he can't win, it's that I know that unfortunately, he actually can't win. The country isn't ready to be told that Social Security, for instance, is unconstitutional. He may be technically right, but that doesn't mean the country as a whole doesn't feel like we need to do *something*, and this is all we've got right now.
