OPMS Mural Redux - Jaco Park Mural Project by Bill Savarese. From March 10 to May 27, 2010, muralist Bill Savarese painted a mural featuring two portraits of Jaco Pastorius on the walls of the Jaco Pastorius Community Center in Jaco Pastorius Park, located in Oakland Park, Fla. A board member of Oakland Park Main Street, he was selected by that same board to create the mural as a replacement for a separate mural previously installed on the same walls by the muralist Ciccio.
