  • if you run that later, your going to want to put a new water pump impeller in because it doesn't look like the motor is pumping any water, if it is then its not pumping enough. Nice motor tho. Just my cents, wouldn't want to see it seize up ya know

  • i noticed that too but im 1963 merc 4.5 did the same thing in the can it didnt pump any water but when i got it in a lake it worked jsut fine im wondering if the can im using is just too small my dad had a 71 johnson 40 hp that was the same in the can the pump didnt work but in the lake it did but yah thanks for the tip

  • try using a bigger can, you want the water pump housing to be underwater also

  • you were right the water pump if fucked check my new video it will explane it

  • another thing i know every one has been raidin on ur parade but keep one hand on the motor while pull startin it because it a good way to bust the spring i learned the hard way there are very few springs around
