Metaphysical as usual. Love the sailing sequence in the video. Supposedly he started writing this whilst on holiday in Jamaica. Like a removed take on patriotism and US-American culture.

Jim's poetry speaks to all things all good poetry does,only he could put images to it.I see and understand your interpretation. It's sad ,the world we live in,there is much room for improvement,people are too busy chasing the american dream to see what bullshit it is.If we go for what we need we'd be much better off. RIP Jim. You knew...
