Reset SF Premieres the Parkzing Tow App

San Francisco City Hall proposed creating a smartphone app that would help reduce the number of cars towed in the city. We at Reset San Francisco utilized our Gov. 2.0 know-how to beat them to the punch, collaborating with developer Aren Sandersen to create the Parkzing app for the iphone.

Using web 2.0 tools, Sunshine Requests to get access to the data and a little old-fashioned incentive-based marketing, we were able to do in less than two months and for just $1,000 -- what would have taken City Hall two years and perhaps even millions of dollars to accomplish.
