  • How retarded are you? Seriously.

Ask yourself why Finland a population of 4 million at that time would want to agitate one of the worlds biggest military powers? Are you that fucking brickwalled that you actually think that the Soviet Union was not the planning to invade Finland?

It is a well documented FACT. Just accept that your countries history is not the happy rightous fairytale you want it to be.

Stalin and his regime was evil.

  • my grandpa was general in the winter war at the finnish side. He died in the war. R.I.P all heroes

  • @Plihtari The Soviet union wasn't a big power before the 2nd world war, that doesn't mean those finish guys weren't heroes, but the Soviet Union became strong due to many manpower and time to build tanks and study advanced technology. Simply the number of men did make them win the war and it's nice to see how a small army of Finland resisted their war against the Soviet

  • at lipoa village 30.11 soviet forces tried to brake finnish lines whitout artilery preperaton and attack failed but when artilery arived we had to retreat. Our forces made line outskirts of the village. Line held without strong AT-artillery. Soviets lost 12 tanks five of witch were sunk in to the swamp. Russians braked the right flank of the village and high command had to evacuate divisional staf there.

  • at october finland found it self at brink of war and at november soviet union called it's embasy staf out that ment diplomacy will be replaced by hostilities. When war started we were wating england for help but it didn't come. Our high command noticed that hard war was coming

  • Good for Finland I say, I'm glad that they were never conquered by the Soviet Union, such a conquest would have ruined them.

And RIP all those poor people who didn't live to tell their story.

  • For being "so infinitesimally small that they could do no conceivable harm to the Soviet Union," Finland trounced Russia pretty well.

  • @Ryujinification its right what you said but they helps allies

  • guys..

Who helps the allies to attack the nazi's?

    yes, Russia.

i don't think that russia was good they were bad.

but they helps the americans to return back the nazi's.

  • And they underestimated us. Mannerheim was a brilliant Strategist. But at times they took the upper hand. And eventualy we lost. We didn't have enough supplies and resources. I wish i was born in Suomi(Finland). But, i am a Finnish American. R.I.P to all the Fallen in the Winter War.

  • @Plihtari Thank you friend, for putting those fools in their place. Stalin was a VERY greedy individual. It was mainly about Stalin wanting more land. He wanted a big chunk of Finland's territory. He demanded we grant him it and we denied him instantly. We told him we aren't sucumbing to his supposed Wrath. We Finns have an attitude. Its our Sisu. And it eventualy ended up in war. Even though the Russians Won. We really slaughterd them in battles. Because they were in large battalions.
