this album is better than most other music out at its time but i feel they compartmentalized themselves too much here in order to fit a mold in order to sell. i don't blame them. beta band doesnt survive well being constrained.

Its so sad when a great band like this is no more, and only to be replaced with the mediocrity that is the Editors or the fucking Ting Tings, or that other thing that

that makes me smile " Arrrrgggghhh, makes me shudder with anger just to think of that shite...
As I say a band like this form you as a person and indeed stays with you as you go along the road.
The good makes you dream.

too fucking right mate...saw them in 2004 at the Coronet in Elephant & Castle. They started with Dry the Rain, Assessment, then Inner Meet Me and it was the best gig I ever went to, then and it's still the best.
