@EDitS11 Possibly because the lyrics are indicting and also pointing for revolt against political control and suppression within jamaica. Politicians would have not wanted this song blurting out across the air waves. ( just my speculative opinion)
@EDitS11 In the 70'' Jamaica was going through some political struggle at this time if you had to travel to some parts of the island you were stopped by police and road blocks.. this record by the Great Faybiena was like .. lets just say a song to Power the People...... a real motivator, as the Legend said ..... Get up, Stand up,Stand up for your rights. So its like you said... Lyrics... This is what was told to me.
