The injection point election problem is the problem of classifying nodes according to some criteria in order to indicate nodes that are more appropriate in terms of those than the remaining nodes. These nodes are called injection points or clusterhead candidates [Brust]. The video shows two network partitions being connected by two links (left). Depending on where the links are set, the average shortest path length (right) is effected remarkably.
