RE: Phoenix - Tron CAN control it (with some help)

Do this right for a guaranteed kill on Dark Phoenix.

Summary of the setup:
1. Do a combo around 400,000 damage, or a little less. The servbots from Lunchtime should be killing Phoenix, not the beacon.
2. End the combo with Lunchtime, and immediately DHC to X-23's level 3 when the beacon hits. Dash forward and block.
3. X-factor cancel the blockstun, and kill Dark Phoenix in one hit =)

The same setup should work with Shuma Gorath's level 3 as well. Otherwise, you can opt to DHC to any other character that can whiff a hyper. The servbots will cover you long enough to maybe run at least one mixup.

Note that the initial, less-than-400k dmg combo does not have to be performed by Tron - you can DHC to Lunchtime, and then DHC to Silent kill from any character. The downside to this is, of course, the fact that you'd need 5 meters.

X-23 herself can already kill Phoenix alone with a combo and end with her Silent Kill as Phoenix begins to transform.

One thing though, X-23 with her Ankle Slice assist, can act as the OTG instead of having to use someone else since it doesn't need a third character.

This is good info though, actually gave me some ideas for setups with my Tron, X-23 and Morrigan team.

@DittoSMS according to the frame data, Dark Phoenix can actually mash jab against X-23 before she gets a chance to activate Silent Kill, even if you time everything perfectly. Of course, if Phoenix is trying to teleport, fly, block, or anything other than jab, she'll get caught.

If I'm down to only Tron and X-23, I'll usually go for shorter combo that doesn't require an assist, so I can still immediately DHC to Silent kill. The XFC setup is much easier to time properly.

What I believe I meant was, you can still do the same combo, but use X-23's Ankle Slice assist to pop them up for Tron's Beacon Bomb. And then delay it a bit (Like you mentioned) so the DHC can work so the XFC setup can happen.

Good find. Almost as soon as I saw this I went and tried this with Spiderman and sure enough it works the same setting up for UWT. Still requires three meters or an OTG assist to kill her off but the setup works all the same. Good find.
