@bikepeddlar6 They were not special forces at all. They were an elite combat formation as far as German units went. That said there were plenty of units in the SS who were just a bunch of armed thugs. Check out the "Warsaw Uprising". Some of the SS units involved spent more time killing and raping civilians then fighting the insurgents. And that was an urban combat like Fallujah.

@stage and i seeme to recall that battle of casarine pass we got our asses handed. hmmmmm. allso it was pretty close call at bulge, even touh we had compleat airsupperiority and bigger numbers it was still a close call. german army was the best of its time, if it whudl have being usa next to germany then we whuld have being shit out of luck just like france.

The fact is yes civilian's die but becouse some time's thay pick up droped weapon's or are supporters of the terrorist's and belive it to be the right thing to do or thay are grief struck by fallen famly members. Second yes children get hurt but 75% of the time it's becouse of bombing run's and the other 35% is becouse thay run out in the street in the middle of battle's point is, it's war and horrible shit happened's in war you can't change it. I used to be in the 8Th OSN VV Moscow aka Russian spetznaz, and I hear all the ass hole's saying America is a war loving and baby killing country, first of all america is one of the best countries in the world and is why it is consider'd to be a SUPERPOWER second u.s troops don't brake down doors and kill people OR baby's so get your facts straight.
