They would and they do, but they use messages hidden openly in the background that speak to the subconscious mind. The conscious mind must be aware they exist, be familiar with the symbolism used and actively search for it. Watch the gestures made by people who talk with their hands. Certain gestures can effect thought processes like the OK sign. Notice how it used very often and out of context, and know that it makes us slightly more open to suggestion and a bit more trusting in what is said.

I was able to stop it, You just have to keep clicking play and pause really fast and get lucky, it took me about 5 minutes but I finally did it. All it is, is a green square with the date at the top the same date that is shown at the top of the whole broadcast. Its just a layer that they use to superimpose the date. Cmon with everyone having Tivo these days do you honestly think someone would try to sneak in sublimnal messages.
