So you've been waiting 2 years to come back and post this? LOL! Little man...
But if you must know, it's worked out pretty well. My Toshiba HD DVD player still works great with all of the super cheap movies I picked up. Still upscales DVD better than my PS3. But what if it dies, you say? Well, then I have my BR/HD DVD combo player in my computer. How much have you spent on BR movies in the last 2 years?

No actually. Blu-ray is the next evolution in home video and it will kill off DVD. HD-DVD was nothing more than just a suped up DVD. Beta was just a smaller VHS, DVHS was just ass.

The war isn't over just because one studio flipped to one format over the other. Interesting fact: There's only 1 plant that makes Blu Ray's (Sony owns it), but a couple different plants make HD DVD.
