Vintage F1 racing from Ashby, at the Radio Race car Series in the mid 90's, mostly Tamiya F103 models, 1/10th 2WD electric, 27T motors, 1400NiCd batteries, oh them were the days!

Yeah Ashby was a top track, a little bumpy for F1 but great fun and fast!
We have plenty of tracks to race on now though, and a few indoor clubs too! Check my F1 video from Ardent Raceway!

the track is still there Des? thought it was all gonna be new houses, oh, that's why it's still there. Maybe it could still be saved.

It won't be saved as long as theres a councilor living nearby. :( All because they didn't like the 'beeps' from the pa system. Sad.

I went and stood on the old Ashby rostrum today as I was passing, it's still there, but the track is in very poor condition.
