NRG Cheerleading 2009- Competitive and Recreational Squads

A small sample of the NRG Energize cheerleaders in action. Competitive squads are featured at the beginning of the video (dance floor footage), and recreational squads are later in the video (with the red curtain). Recreational Squads cheer for fun and perform at local community events and shows. Anyone can join these teams, and the youngest cheerleaders in the rec squads are only 5 years old. NRG Competitive Cheerleading squads participate in State, National and International Competitions and this team is specially selected. They were state winners in 2008 and state, national and international winners in 2009. Thanks to Comm23 and Black Hawk production for permission to use the footage.
