Really cool stuff.
I think this is what I need. A camera movement during a time lapse. I've been planing of making a paning robodolly myself, hopefully, it's gonna work well :)

yes,the final product is comprised of multiple takes. Since the move is the same every time, portions can be mixed and matched. Not only night and day, but any skies and buildings, etc....
