Perdido - Soprano & Soprano saxophone

Hello everybody. This is Leonie and me playing at the factory. At lot has happened to me since the last video. Two months ago I was diagnosed breast cancer and had a breast amputation an within three weeks after that the next surgery; glands removed in my armpit. Unfortunately it looks like the cancer has spread and I am in for heavy treatment; chemo, radiation therapy and hormonal treatment. Last week I had all sorts of examinations of the rest of my body to see where the cancer has gone. The result I will hear next Tuesday. So I am not a very happy woman at the moment. This video was the first time in two months that I played a saxophone for I couldn't lift up my right arm. This afternoon we have been playing for 3.5 hours and for the first time I felt "normal" again! I want to thank the few Youtubers that already know what has happened to me and who are VERY supportive. I can use a little support right now! These videos are about having fun, not about being perfect.

@musicmaniac1965 Hello Ronald thank you for your lovely comment! The whole cancer thing is a terrible shock. I have never been so afraid in my life! So this afternoon at the factory was a real treat after two months. I still can feel the positive energy.

@incognitoXL Sorry voor het engels schrijven, maar na zoveel engelse vrienden/vriendinnen beantwoord te hebben zat ik daar helemaal in :-) hahaha.

Maar het is goed voor te stellen dat je van muziek maken positieve energie krijgt, want die krijgen wij als kijker ook al mee. Blijf vooral doorgaan met muziek maken, het klinkt echt fantasties.
