What is a raciest? Also, considering how deeply rooted the racism brought upon primarily by slavery in this country and the fact that less than half a century ago people were denied their basic American rights...or that the government has (it is documented) actively sought out to destroy signs of black community progress...I'd say slavery has a LOT to do with it...it is not active today, sure...but we still feel the residue...residual slavery is alive and well..advanced by ignorance on all sides

Hillbilly and Nigger aren't on the same spectrum...Hillbilly and Hoodrat are as they are practically synonymous...same with Redneck and Ghetto...problem is if a white person is called a hillbilly or a redneck, it tends to specify a specific subculture....and 99% of people are aware of that...where as when the terms 'hoodrat' or 'ghetto ___' are used derogatorily it is usually meant as an all inclusive term.
