A man came from afar,
in his eyes the memory of wheat fields,
in his heart, carried the wind of Auschwitz
and meanwhile he wrote love poems,
love that is born within the heart of the 'man
for every other man.
A man came from afar,
carrying pain and a book in his hand
someone shot me and I cried that day,
but the world has remained quiet:
that day the whole world has found in the heart,
that truth does not die.
A man who travels, dressed in white,
to thousands countries and never seems to
get tired,
but in his eyes a deep pain:
he sees the different things in the world,
war and people who changed their hearts,
and truth that dies.
'Go, gentle big man, go'.
Go, to speak of freedom.
Go, where there is war, poverty and hunger
and also they killed dignity.
Go and recall in this heart of mine

em seus olhos a memória dos campos de trigo,
em seu coração, levou o vento de Auschwitz
e, entretanto, escreveu poemas de amor,
amor que nasce dentro do coração do homem '
para qualquer outro homem.
Um homem veio de longe,
carregando dor e um livro na mão
alguém atirou em mim e eu chorei naquele dia,
mas o mundo ficou quieto:
Naquele dia o mundo inteiro descobriu no coração,
que a verdade não morre.
Um homem que viaja, vestido de branco,
a milhares de países e nunca parece
se cansar,
mas em seus olhos uma dor profunda:
ele vê as coisas diferentes no mundo,
guerra e pessoas que mudaram seus corações,

a liberdade é apenas dom Dele.
Você abre os braços e incentiva as crianças
a serem irmãos.
