  • Will the Atom Muvi DV camera fit in to this case?

  • @danny4xboy I haven't tried, but I believe they have released a case just for the atom

  • You are wrong when you say the MD80 won't fit this case. I Have tried this waterproof case with the MD80s by aee.com and it fits perfectly

  • @davemassive the md80 clone that i mentioned in the video, the one most people buy from china will not fit this case. I have 2 waterproof cases. One i use for the muvi and one i have had to dremmel out the inside to get it to fit the clone. I completely ruined a clone unit by trying to get the insides fit into an muvi case, which is why i ended up dremmeling the insides out.

  • i have another fully waterproof unit, the tachyon xc, used it underwater a few times which is why i went for this. My home made cd cover worked well but just not the same. I'm sure the price will come down. i agree they could have made it smaller though. Its still much smaller and lighter than the tachyon i have had stuck on my head for the last 8 months. the cd cover smeared quite badly when it rained so will see what this one does.

  • Very helpful and informative video. Thank you. Except he stuck his middle finger out at me at :28. WTF MAN!!!! NOT COOL!!

  • DO NOT -I repeat, DO NOT- buy the waterproof case!!! The first one I bought broke its hinge while trying to close it, the second one ARRIVED ALREADY BROKEN!!! It SUCKS beyond the imaginable.

And the Veho support center says to "contact the reseller for a refund". Big deal! I'm tired of contacting resellers that clearly are NOT rsponsible for the defectiveness of that product. If the product SUCKS in the first place, the blame is on the manufacturer, not on the reseller!!

    DO NOT BUY IT!!!

  • @sallysaile You must have a clone of the MD80 then as my MD80s fits perfectly without the need to dremmel or force it into the case.

  • they do make some prope crap accesories. Got the 'Pro Handlebar Mount', cost over £30 and when it arrived was nothing more than plastic.

People would be better off with cobbling something up with a couple of cable ties imo

  • good review!

  • I think the price might come down after the clones come out.

Though if you get the Muvi (original of course) for £70 and this for £28... that's £98... which is only £1 away from the AT-1 wireless unit.

I find the Muvi a poor shape for a helmet mounted cam, but your mount looks good. I assume this is the Muvi sports pack one? I have the "expensive" clone version which didn't include it.
