A well known Beatle-evergreen in a very different, early arrangement. By comparing this version (take 2) to the 'official' take 4, you can tell how much arrangement-work the Beatles (and producer George Martin) had to put into their songs to turn them into hit-singles. Recorded in Paris while on a two-weeks- engagement at the Olympia Theatre 29th Jan 1964.

The Supremes probably heard this version :-) it does sound like the version of The Supremes..

but the original is the best of course :-) (this one too) ;-)

@jeffkahl definitely, it's one of the few early takes that I like just as much as the released version. I love both versions, I wouldn't pick one over the other, I want both :P but there's actually another version of this song which has a similar vibe, it's a different take, but I think it's better than this one, just search 'can't buy me love anthology' it should be the first one, pretty cool.

This version is absolutely more worth hearing than the official masterpiece of THE FAB FOUR.

Really like this unaffected , fresh , bluesy and spontaneous style ,includes naturally also the fascinating backing vocals.
