His left skate not more than a foot off the ice does not constitute as both of his skates (or if you prefer 'leaving his skates') in the least bit. Sorry. It's not that hard to tell from the video.

it was a hell of an elbow that's what it was.. dustin brown plays hard, but thornton would do some damage on him if they squared up
