Yar Mohammad, the deputy district governor of Musa Qal'eh, discusses progress in the district. This video is part of a series called "In their voices," a compilation of video interviews with key leaders in several areas of Helmand, to include Sangin and Marjah. The series provides personal accounts of the areas prior to coalition forces arriving, as well as current conditions. The "In their voices" series allows the public to hear directly from Afghan community leaders, security officials and local government officials. This unprecedented effort is being provided to inform the public on the key issues of security and development in the province. Several print articles will also be linked to the series to provide further background on the progress the Afghan people have experienced in Helmand as well. Also available in high definition.
I think that once there will be a day, that we, (all of us) will be sorry for giving those afghanic people modern weapons, and good training...
Because the people down there, are absolutely blinded by their religion, and they just lie their asses off.
I cant believe an Afghan who say's that he is on our side, the only thing they are doing right now, is waiting for us to leave.
And after that they will say thank u western people, for helping us to get an better army!!!
...
I dont like that!!
