Not only does it not fit but you're silly to think that Michael Giacchino's score is anything short of awesome.
Jesus, why do trekkies have such an issue with Star Trek being exciting and watchable?

@Nikatsu I can't tell you how grateful people like you exist! After reading the insane comments comparing favorably Michael Giachinno's pabulum to Jerry Goldsmith's genius it is reassuring to see good taste and discernment still exist.

I thought that Jerry Goldsmith's theme felt like returning to a long lost love while Micheal Giacchino's theme felt like love at first sight with a sense of some whoop ass tonight.

@Raymint It's because we're used to decades of utter shit; we don't know how to appreciate good Star Trek anymore.

This is excellent! I liked much of the XI score, but this scene in particular was really lacking the emotional impact it should have had...it *should* nearly bring you to tears!

@Raymint I don't know if they have any, but you have an issue realizing Giacchino is a video game composer of no talent whatsoever and his score was horrible. Of course this doesn't fit, it's not scored for it and it's not professionally mixed. It's still better than the actual score.

The soundtrack from XI was great....this music in this video...not so great. Hate to say it. Not being disrespectful...just not my cup of tea.
