  • Yes it is a real Berger COPO. A friend of mine owns the car. He bought the car in 1977 and has keep the car all these years.

  • Sweet! That's a massive investment in a car, and it's good to see the owner is doing more with it than keep it on a lift and polish it. Muscle cars were meant for the track. I've got a COPO Camaro for sale, actually, in my channel videos.

  • @brgable . It would 5 years ago. COPO's and alot of rare muscle cars today don't bring in anywhere near what they used to 5-8 years ago. Most COPO's today are lucky to bring in $120,000. 5 years ago the same car would go for $180-$ 220,000

  • @acemaster1001 ZL1's easily go for 500k + if you can find one for sale that's a numbers matching survivor. watch barrett jackson COPO's fetch big money. personally I think it's awesome this guy is running the hell out of his I mean it's what they were built to do! it's not like he cut the car up really bad can always go back and restore to showroom cudos to the owner!

  • I am normally the guy who would prefer "all original" when talking cars. However, due to the fact that I'm not swimming in money I see nothing wrong with building or having a ZL-1 built for you. You can't smell or taste original, so if you have an actual 69 Camaro with a 427 all aluminum motor that is for all intents and purposes a 69 ZL-1 clone, I'm ok with that. As a matter of fact, there's a guy in Longmont Colorado who builds them exactly like they were new, only better.

  • "Its not numbers matching". WHAAAAAA...Fuck numbers matching! Go fret about how much overspray should be on your nos battery cable. Fuck them hanger queens. That Camaro is doing what it should; vaporizing dinosaur remains! Thats my kind of global green tree hugging goodness.

  • i could give a rats ass if its real ,or not ! it is pretty , faster than shit , and a 69 bbc powered 69 camaro !!!!!!!! keep up the good work .

  • @acemaster1001 whatever. Im a ford guy not a chevy guy anyway, if you asked me about a mustang or galaxie i could talk for hours. Origionaly I was really just commenting on what a cool car it is but that guy made it personal.

  • @00000stephen . ZL1 is ultra rare. 250 000-320 000 is not 400 000 lol Standard Copo would be lucky to get 200 000. Have to be 100% original driving line and Fully Restored Perfectly.

  • @Monst3r177 Yes, any day. Nobody cares about a clone, they only care about the real thing. For 120k I would much rather have a vintage 427 vette.

  • @00000stephen so you would rather pay your "$400,000" for a COPO then pay $120,000 for a clone? if you ask me thats a waist of money on COPO thats being dragraced
