  • It's how the game programmers implement the PhysX system into there game. Thing's like this are often due to developers running out of time to sort out little things like that. That could have easily been sorted if the animal was given the correct mass (i.e. heavier to move along the ground due to friction)

  • @M3G4G0TH And yes, this is strange. Havok I think does a better job with weight of ragdoll etc., a good exapmle is HL2 and any game on the Source engine.

  • @M3G4G0TH Crysis doesnt use havok, Crytek made thier own.

  • No it isn't just a particles physics simulation.. It's a full blown physics API with rigid body, particles and fluid dynamics, rag doll physics, vehicle physics..
